Evaluate 2014 - What did I achieve?

Where was I at the beginning of the year and where am I right now?

It is essential to evaluate and document what we have achieved through a period of time. This is essential for 3 main reasons; first to congratulate ourselves for the progress towards achieving our bigger goals and dreams, second to review what is learned and was improved and third to redirect – reschedule direction.

A year may have brought many shifts, although some may have never been set as goals-to-be-achieved at the beginning of it; still they brought us closer to the achievement of a big goal, brought new opportunities, growth and got us closer to our wanted results.

Sometimes it may have been a negative incident / situation – still it was a lesson to be learned, it provided us with a reason to evaluate that event / situation, it also proved to us that what seemed, at first, to be a negative incident, it, yet, had a fruitful positive effect on us and/or our goal.

What are your achievements of 2014? Below are some suggested areas of your life to look at:

  1. Income
  2. Business Opportunities
  3. New opportunities
  4. Relationships
  5. House – buy – sell rental etc
  6. Family
  7. Friends
  8. Health
  9. Fitness
  10. New Habits
  11. Hobbies
  12. Trips – Holidays
  13. Releasing unwanted feelings
  14. New experiences

Once you are done with the listing and evaluation, congratulate yourself for all the action steps, achievements, new opportunities, “WINS” you have brought into your life during 2014. We achieve small and big goals but we tend to forget that celebrating an achievement is an essential part of success and growth. It is time to celebrate for what you have achieved during this year.

The next step is to evaluate what was harvested and plan the next steps accordingly. Stepping back and observing your year in the scope of what was learned and what could have been done, provides an opportunity to improve your present and plant the seeds of your future results.
